What To Bring For Your Trip To Bali
As already mentioned, Bali is called the “Place of Eternal Summer”. It is not known as the perfect paradise. As such, for your brief or long sojourn here, there some important items that you need to bring with you. These include:
Travel insurance. Bali trips, like most other excursions abroad, can present many risks that can effectively be covered by travel insurance. These include emergency medical treatment, cancelled flights, identity theft, lost or stolen baggage.
Stomach medication. If you have a delicate tummy, it’s best to bring the regular stomach medications you take. And even if you think you can eat anything like Andrew Zimmerman, it is still a good idea to bring Pepto Bismol or some Loperamide. Indonesian cuisine has some exotic spices, fresh seafood prepared a certain way, and they are almost always prepared or cooked with coconut milk. Their food can be a gastronomic treat indeed but many may not be prepared for such fares. You will enjoy the taste but your stomach may not be ready for any of the sensations those ingredients create.

Mosquito repellent. Since Bali has tropical weather conditions, you will have to contend with mosquitoes and other bugs while you’re here. Protect yourself with loads of mosquito repellent and keep the suckers away to avoid getting malaria or any other mosquito-carried diseases.
Sunscreen. Bali is near the equator so it gets unbearably hot here. Bring enough sunscreen for your stay here so that you can protect your skin from the burning sun rays, especially if you love to wear thin or skimpy clothing to stay cool.
Local currency in smaller bills. Lastly, Bali is a splendid place for shopping. It is best to have your money exchanged in smaller bills since when you try to haggle for lower prices, these smaller bills can throw off any “folks” tracking your money activities.
